Cognitive-behavioral therapy
Our way of working is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy. This approach emphasizes how we interpret the things that happen to us and learning strategies to be able to manage both external situations and our thoughts and emotions in ways that cause us as little discomfort as possible.

This therapy is recommended as the first choice of treatment in most psychological disorders. This is because the effectiveness of the techniques he uses is supported by the scientific knowledge of international studies. This means that they have been shown to be useful in solving or addressing numerous psychological problems.

EVALUATION AND DIAGNOSIS
What is happening and why?
The first sessions will help us get to know each other and begin to understand what is happening and why. With this information, we will draw up a functional analysis of the problem (an explanation that includes all the factors that affect it) and a treatment plan, agreeing on the objectives with you.
THERAPY
How long will the treatment last?
Once this analysis is done, we will start the treatment sessions. The most common frequency of sessions is fortnightly, although depending on availability and the limitations caused by the problem, we may initially propose weekly sessions. During the process, we will make you work hard so that you learn strategies to better manage what is happening to you. You may also need to do some work between sessions. These exercises will help you consolidate what you've learned and progress more quickly.
TRACKING
And what happens later?
Treatment usually takes several months, depending on the type of problem, the level of chronicity that has occurred and your level of involvement.
Once you have achieved your goals, we'll move on to the follow-up phase. We will have more spaced sessions, in order to consolidate the improvement achieved.
